Lately...

So it's been hot here. 

I mean, duh, it's the desert.

But, it's been like stupid hot. We've even been breaking records here.

So, we've been staying indoors A LOT.  The kids and I have been hanging around the apartment more often than not, entertaining ourselves in various ways. I kind of feel like it's a bit of a gift...I mean, we spend so much of our lives running from one place to the next, it's nice to allow my six year olds to just take it slow I guess =).

We are still loving having the two feline visitors here. The kids just ADORE having them around, and are going to be so sad when they leave us soon. Their favorite is when one of them settles in on one of their beds...
